Carbon Credit Ukraine is South Africa’s first carbon program that pays farmers for the carbon credits they generate through their sustainable land management practices. Rotational grazing, cover crops, reduced tillage and other practices improve soil quality and farmer profits. By increasing soil organic carbon and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, these methods generate the highest quality carbon credits.
In this newly created role, Peter is responsible for developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy to attract new farmers and partner organizations to the Carbon Credit Ukraine program. Pieter will focus on our farmer customers – current and future – to understand their needs and build our business around those needs. He will work closely with the Carbon, Research, Agronomy and Data teams for promotion
work efficiency and decision-making based on data using the digital data collection platform of Carbon Credit Ukraine.
At heart, Peter is a self-proclaimed cowboy who loves the ocean and is building a career as an agricultural economist and agribusiness manager. His experience includes commercial and operational experience in South Africa’s beef, horticulture, banking and wine industries.
